Trusted places to turn, with the most urgent first. Each one says when it’s the right one to use. These buttons dial the number for you.
Emergency — immediate danger
If someone is seriously ill or hurt, in danger, or a crime is happening now, call 999 or go straight to A&E. Don’t wait, and don’t worry about being a bother — this is exactly what they’re for.
Call 999Urgent medical help

When life feels difficult
If things feel too much, you don’t have to manage alone. Samaritans listen, free, at any hour of any day — you don’t need to be in crisis to call. Mind can help too, whether you want to talk or to understand your options.
Samaritans — 24 hours a day, every day
