Privacy for Organisations

Kindred Compass is designed to provide support without requiring people to share sensitive personal information — a short summary for governance and information teams.

The design in one list

  • No accounts and no sign-in — nothing identifies a user
  • No advertising, and personal data is never sold (there is none to sell)
  • No third-party tracking or advertising analytics
  • Anonymous, aggregate usage counting only — page and feature counts, never content
  • Never asks for passwords, PINs, or bank details
  • No medical records, and no NHS numbers
  • What a user saves (notes, routines) stays in their own browser, on their own device
  • Users can erase everything themselves via “Clear my information”
  • Organisation reporting is aggregate only — trends and counts, never individuals
  • No personal case management, and no case records

What users are told not to enter

Users should not enter names, addresses, passwords, PINs, bank details, NHS numbers, or medical records into the app — and the app repeats this reminder wherever someone can type.

Questions typed into the app

When someone asks the Guide Finder a question, the words they type are matched to guides on their own device. Analytics records only which guide topic answered — from our own fixed list — never the typed words themselves.
